National Trust Cotehele Essential Guide

bwa were approached by the National Trust to design a generic new property guide aimed at families. The National Trust was looking for a new kind of publication to inspire all members of a visiting family to discover and be inspired by different aspects of a property. This is being tested at the Trust tudor property of Cotehele in Cornwall in Summer 2009.
The solution took the form of a small concertina booklet, with one side encouraging users to take a closer look at Cotehele’s bustling Quay, mill, chapel, orchards and riverside garden, whilst the opposing side expressed visitors experience explaining why it’s such a special place for the people who live, work and visit Cotehele.
The result:
An inspiring booklet that accentuates aspects of Cotehele’s Tudor house and its surrounding riverside garden to a family audience. This publication is a catalyst helping family visitors discover the essence of this unique National Trust property, with a view to wider application across all Trust properties.
