The Royal Parks Foundation Brief:
Earlier this year View Creative designed and developed the Half Marathon website for our client The Royal Parks Foundation. The 13.1 mile race this September is expected to raise £2.5 million for over 130 charities. Our brief was to design a website ready for the launch in March with an emphasis on user experience.
A fully bespoke runner management system allows new participants, corporate teams and charities to register on the website, pay for places, manage their teams and communicate via their runner profiles.
Our development team also managed mini site integration for the Junior race - Pulse 3K, allowing both websites' content and runner data to be managed from one central bespoke system.
The result:
All public places for the event sold out within 12 hours, with runners signing up for entries at the rate of one every four seconds.
