We tried to encapsulate the sense of history and Celtic tradition that is at the heart of this unique range of quality ales. In order to do this we have used distressed foiling on an uncoated craft paper recalling the Bronze age during which the Celts thrived. and emphasizing the historical aspect of the brewing methods. The labels had to reflect the high quality of the bottled ales, and so it was vital that the packaging stood out from the bar shelves and back-lit fridges, attracting the attention of discerning consumers. The label foiling reflects light well, drawing attention to the whole product. We also used atmospheric landscape shots throughout the brewery's marketing material to enhance the overall feel of the brand.
