Brief

Furniture manufacturer Connection asked Stills to redesign their website into an easy to use, efficient resource centre for furniture dealers, their core clientele. They wanted to offer an all-inclusive solution that would make it easier to specify products and visualise ideas for clients – thus inviting the dealers to keep using the Connection products over other suppliers.

Result

The feedback on the website has been very positive from both client and users alike. Existing customers have commented that the transition to the new website has been easy with the new site being intuitive to navigate. All functionality for the website and the mobile web application is accessible via our Content Management System meaning the client has complete control over the content. For Stills, development of custom functionality for the website has brought success in winning more work in the manufacturing sector.

Solution

Stills created two bespoke tools for this purpose: My Collection and Mood Wall. Throughout the site different product images, renders, CAD files and other product information documents can be added to My Collection – the files can then be saved to profile or emailed for further reference. Mood Wall is a visual playground where bespoke visuals and room sets can be created on the go. The product images can be dragged onto the wall with options to select product views, scale, and customise wall and floor graphics. The website is compatible with iPhones in addition to all other platforms as it uses Ajax instead of Flash for animations. Stills is also producing a cross platform mobile web application.
