Engage Business Magazine

Brief

Project A magazine to inform Business in the South Wales area of the potential opportunities to educate employees at Bridgend College. Background and project brief Bridgend College tasked CR with raising the profile of the Business Centre at the College through the creation of a high-end business magazine – Engage. The magazine needed to be informative, eye-catching and above all relate to the audience.

Result

A high-end 16 page oversized A4 brochure was created. The front cover showcased the engage masthead prominently and brings in the use of vibrant orange. A mixture of full page and double page spread layouts was incorporated, showcasing the images off to their very best. Additional ‘page furniture’ was used to highlight particular messages and call to actions.

Solution

CR directed the client to not use photolibrary images and to keep the magazine real. Articles needed to be produced in a magazine style that provided both a chatty but informative approach. A day’s photography was planned to create bespoke and relevant images that reflected the topic areas of the articles. Having read the articles, CR suggested photographic set ups and liaised with the client to ensure models, props and timings were all to plan.
