Cool2Cook is a sub-brand of Hybu Cig Cymru (Meat Promotion Wales), which
focuses on promoting healthy eating in younger children. The Ontrac Agency won the tender to produce a brochure featuring recipes aimed at inspiring children to cook.
The idea was to produce a brochure which focused not just on meals using meat, but also vegetarian options, illustrating the importance of having a healthy balanced diet, but also promoting sustainability and using local food products.
Result
The campaign was launched last year, with a TV appearance on Wedi 7 as well as press coverage.

Solution
Ontrac’s solution was to produce a design that was appealing and accessible to children.
The page layouts were designed to incorporate a main full bleed image covering a double page spread.
Ontrac commissioned and art directed the photo shoot focusing on interaction from the children used in the shoot.
All of the ingredients were shot separately and were featured on every recipe spread to help children in recognising various foods.
