Conka was approached by Breffo once again to expand the current product range. The brief required Conka to develop a new gadget grip so suit the rapidly expanding Tablet PC market. In-keeping with the existing Spiderpodium’s key qualities, the new grip had to be flexible (enabling it to bend to any angle to fit any tablet PC), durable, lightweight, and boast the ability to pack flat for travel.
Result
Since its launch at the start of 2011 at the CES show in Las Vegas, this universal tablet grip and is now selling globally — and has attracted enquiries regarding bespoke options from the likes of NASA, Paramount Pictures and Google!
Solution
Conka Design developed a product with eight flexible securing legs (from which the product gets its “Spider” element) that are able to clasp, hang, dock and showcase any tablet device securely and stylishly on any surface.
Extensive research into its design, teamed with the product’s infinite flexibility means that it can be used with a wide range of products, and is essentially future-proof. In this case, one size really does fit all.
