To design for volume manufacturing a unique egg cup to extend the kitchenware range within the Mode product offering to be sold through existing distribution channels worldwide.
Result
An alternative take on the egg cup, Egg3 takes inspiration from architectural forms and pattern.
Designed as a set of two that creates a cuboid when not in use, its contrasting colour way is moulded in soft silicone rubber that holds any size of egg securely, it also offers a non-slip base for added stability.
The design aims to be intriguing as well as bold and will only display its true function once it contains the humble egg.
