Bulk Handling Solutions provide equipment for the safe, speedy and efficient movement, loading and unloading of bulk materials into 20 and 40 foot shipping containers. sanders were approached to develop a product for them that would enable 20 foot shipping containers to be safely removed form the bed of a transporting trailer, tilted through 90 degrees, loaded and then returned to its original position on the trailer bed.
Result
The new design means that the tilter is easy to use for the operator with radio remote control With a focus on safety and utilising FEA testing the safe machine, but an aesthetic, efficient one.
The result of the design work, is a fast, efficient, safe, and very cost efficient system for off loading containers and inverting them to the delivery vehicle in a matter of minutes, and is capable of safely handling 20ft containers based on a max operating load of 30,000 kg.
Solution
The new design provides an innovative and cost effective solution for the loading and unloading of bulk product. By combining simple ‘ease of use’ with sound engineering principles, the new tilter is both easily transportable on site and can be easily dismantled and reassembled. No special foundations are required as the machine is totally free-standing and self supportive.
