Cardiff Design Festival

The Design Wales Forum will be holding its next Colour and Trend Froevcasting event on 25 March at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. The day will be split two parts. The morning will be general consumer trends for the next decade, specifically 2012 with reference to colour and materials. The afternoon will be dedicated to the fashion and textile trends for S/S 2012. Delegates can go to Part One or Part Two or both.

PRESENTER Jaana Jatyri CEO of www.Trendstop.com a leading online trend forecasting and analysis service. Trendstop analyses information on current and emerging trends from around the world. These are presented with comprehensive supporting images and analysis.

PART ONE CONSUMER TRENDS
11am – 1pm: Consumer trends for the decade
Consumer trends for 2012
This presentation will cover attitudes, influences and potential product/ service application.
This presentation is relevant to all design disciplines.
Cost: Full = £30 / Student = £20

PART TWO FASHION AND TEXTILES TRENDS FOR S/S 2012
2pm – 4pm: This presentation is aimed primarily at the fashion and textiles sector but could be of use to designers working within other disciplines.
Areas covered will be: colour palettes, womenswear, menswear, lingerie, accessories, textiles and surface pattern.
Cost: Full = £30 / Student = £20
ALL DAY TICKET: FULL = £55 / STUDENT = £35
Student places will be restricted to 10 per session. Places allocated first come first served.
