Cardiff Design Festival

The Festival is convened and facilitated by Cardiff School of Art & Design at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) in collaboration with partners from the creative industries and other public bodies and private businesses.

The Festival Director is Olwen Moseley, Director of Enterprise at the School of Art & Design and a principal lecturer in Design. She’s a board member of Keep Wales Tidy and the Makers Guild in Wales and a recent winner of the Inspire Wales Awards, in addition to being listed by Design Week in the Hot 50 most influential people in Design in the UK in 2005 and 2009.

Angie Dutton keeps the Festival running smoothly, she also works in the School of Art & Design as Enterprise co-ordinator, but also runs her own consulting business. She’s a housing association board member.

There have been many key participators in the last Five years who have given freely of their time and energy.
