Brief

Realistically visualise the interior restoration of a newly acquired Day vessel in the Magna Carta fleet (based on the Thames). The furniture, materials and style to exactly match the boat builder’s drawings and specification to be in keeping with the style of the Orient Express.

Result

The client was able to visualise the end result of the restoration and produce pre-completion marketing material ready for the launch date. The images Conka supplied were featured in the Sunday Express where it gained a lot of interest and large amount pre bookings for the vessels 5 days cruise of the Thames.

Solution

Conka 3D developed the entire boat, interior and furniture from scratch in a 3D environment, we then developed the textures and materials to match the specification supplied by the client to give an exact representation of the end result showing the restoration in its full glory. We also converted a number of images of the exterior of the vessel using post production techniques to show what it would look like when it was fully restored.
