Le Cheile is a collaboration between artists from the Regional Print Centre Wrexham, and the Leinster Printmaking studio,Clane, Co. Kildare. This project brief was led by our Studio Manager Liz Hughes. The brief was to create a catalogue or piece of print which told the story of this arts exhibition.

Solution
Le Chéile was the interesting title for the exhibition. It’s the Irish word for “together” as in linked up, pieced together, or in Welsh “cyswllt” or “gyda’i gilydd”. It can also be used in the context of “to meet up”, or “make love”. It perfectly describes, in language, what the project encapsulates. Liz’s design brought together the project in print, a collaboration that tells the story of the project using interesting typography and imagery.
