Brief

PGA was commissioned by Cadw to create an informative, engaging piece of literature which would showcase their 2010 events programme. This new all-Wales events brochure is to be used as an essential marketing tool to create awareness of their events and to encourage visitors to visit Cadw monuments in Wales. Whilst reinforcing the Cadw brand.

Result

The brochure has been distributed across Wales including all tourist information centres in Wales and borders, Visit Wales graded accommodation and prime sites such as supermarkets, libraries, leisure centres. The brochure has been very well received by Cadw and the tourist industry and is regarded as an essential marketing tool for Cadw’s event promotion.

Solution

PGA designed and produced a bilingual broadsheet style brochure containing features, top 5 highlights, top 5 events for children, 2010 events programme and news. English and Welsh copy was placed parallel to one other in a column style grid using purple and orange block colour to distinguish between the two languages. A number of striking event led images were used throughout the brochure to engage the reader and to provide a snapshot of the fun packed historic events Cadw hold.
