BAFTA Cymru Awards - 2010 Awards branding and literature

Brief

marketing and event material from printed literature through to big screen graphics. The BAFTA Cymru Awards attract Wales’s biggest talents in film and TV and with the organisation increasing in prestige, they required a look and feel that reflected this. The material was to be presented as a memento for guest to keep and evoke a feeling of luxury and exclusivity.

Result

BAFTA Cymru were overwhelmed with the results. Lisa Nesbitt, Director of BAFTA Cymru commented, “Each year our event is growing in stature and we wanted everything about this year’s to be really stand-out. The collectors’ pack and event literature evokes the prestige and glamour that the BAFTA brand has been associated with for many decades. Giving guests a collectible memento is a first for BAFTA Cymru and has taken our event literature to a whole new level”

Solution

We created a collectors’ pack, taking inspiration from art deco to define a clear ‘10’ theme using a black, white and gold colour palette. We carried this through all literature including the programme, tickets, ticket sleeves, menu, posters, leaflets, table plans and big screen graphics. We created a sophisticated, prestigious look for the event, in keeping with BAFTA Cymru’s status. It also provided award-goers with a memento by which they could remember the event and BAFTA experience.
