High Level Walkway and Round House, Chessington

Brief

To design & construct a timber walkway that would be from ground level to some 3.5m above the ground at the far end. This walkway was to allow the public to view the new animal enclosure within the zoo section at Chessington. The project had to have an African theme, hence the thatched roof to the round house.

Result

The project far surpassed all expactations of both the client, the zoo management and ourselves. We incresed awareness, once the structure was opened to the public, there were tremendus comments from the public - and still are. Customer Satisfaction was 'un-real'. Solution

What the client requested, but the project far surpassed the clients expectations. All timber was sourced from Wales, prefabricated at our workshops in Llanrwst and then installed at Chessington World of Adventures.
