Autumn International and Six Nations sport awareness campaign

Brief

As part of a national pitch 13 agencies were tasked with a brief by the University to show their understanding of the client and how best to promote the University’s sporting courses in the Autumn Internationals and the Six Nations. The brief required the concept to continue the university's branding.

Result

As you’d imagine we were delighted with the resulting suite of images, and so too was the client, as the concepts were chosen as the preferred option. For a small agency we felt like the fabled 'David versus Goliath', CR taking on well known and established agencies and beating them to the finish line. The success of this campaign saw CR selected on a roster of 4 agencies to provide graphic design work for the University of Glamorgan.

Solution

This concept incorporated bespoke photography and messages targeted at the rugby audience. The messages portrayed active shots of rugby players playing the sport with a scientist measuring their performance during play. Each advert contained bespoke photography, involving creation of concept, location sourcing, model sourcing and engagement, photographic art direction.
