Flytipping Action Wales

Brief

To create an identity and brand structure for Fly-tipping Action Wales. A campaign creating awareness of the risks of tipping illegally, to educate people about the penalties of tipping and a vision of a greener future for wales' open spaces and urban areas. The identity had to work in both english and welsh and have a strong link to wales.

Result

The final idea was very well received by the co-ordinating panel, and has been used in a number media campaigns including tv reports and press releases. The branding has been rolled out covering exhibition panels etc.

Solution

Whilst experimenting with some ideas we tried inserting an outline of Wales as a substitute for one of the letters and it was noted that it didn't stop people from reading and understanding the name. Since this gave us such a strong link we ran with it in both languages. The colour green was chosen to give an idea of what Fly-tipping Action Wales' vision is... a greener future for wales' open spaces and urban areas.
