Cardiff Design Festival

Returning this year for the fifth time are the eminent designers David Worthington and Richard Seymour, joined by Mark Boulton for a second year and Glenn Tutssel. Who has returns as a judge, since judging the submissions in the first Cardiff Design Festival, which took place in 2005. The criteria are originality, fitness for purpose and integrity (does this piece of design add positively to the world or is it just more of the same?) and of course, as appropriate, excellent ideas, typography, use of materials, production, illustration, narrative and communication.
